Koa's Kandles are all created with the health of the environment and our community in mind. They are made with beeswax from local bee farms right here in Columbia, MO; this means our beeswax is sustainably sourced and never packaged or shipped. Our candles are only scented with essential oils, each of which has been thoroughly researched for use in candles; therefore they are safe, all-natural, and offer unique aromatherapy benefits. Scents can also be customized to your needs. Pillar candles are sold separately and are sized to fit the candle holders, so you can replace the candle when it burns out without having to buy a new candle holder every time. This is good for our environment, as you can keep reusing the jars instead of recycling them or adding them to landfills! Plus, all of the materials we use to ship our products to you can be reused and/or recycled.
A lot of time and effort is devoted to each candle, ensuring the beeswax is molded and scented flawlessly and the wreaths are beautifully laid out; this results in charming, quality candles that can be personalized to meet your desired look. The wreaths are inspired by nature and new designs are created seasonally so you will always have the most up-to-date home decor.

Koa's Kandles is currently a part-time business that I perform while finishing my Master's of Public Health degree. I started out making these candles as gifts during the holidays; they became so loved that my family convinced me to share my gifts with the rest of the world. This is how Koa's Kandles was born! I have been dedicated to perfecting my art of candle-making since, combining my background of science, my passion for the environment, my knowledge of natural health, and my love for crafts to make sure every candle is incredibly safe, has positive health benefits, and is beautifully designed. Each candle is made personally by me, so they are made with much love and passion.
